How Do We Train to Follow Jesus?

Our Mission

Our mission follows Philippians 4:9…

What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—PRACTICE these things, and the God of peace will be with you. (ESV)

Give, Serve, Love, Share

During our 90-minute sessions (Saturdays, 7-8:30 AM), we challenge each other and support each other. The Bible is our playbook, and we focus heavily on God’s guidance through His Word. We are quick to share in each other’s victories while also sharing in one another’s challenges and trials.

Why We Meet

We meet for spiritual growth in Jesus Christ. We open the Bible to learn what was written in the first century and how to apply it in the 21st century. We memorize scripture as this is one of the most powerful tools to fight off Satan and his demons. We meet to encourage one another as there are many lost and hurting men. Sometimes we need encouragement and sometimes God uses us to be the encourager.

Our Beliefs

Practice meets men where they are and feeds them and leads them spiritually.

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. (2 TIM 3:16-17)

  • We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His bloodshed, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. (1 COR 15)

  • We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of the lost and sinful man. (EPH 2:5) We believe in the Holy Spirit’s present ministry, indwelling in the Christian, enables them to live a Godly life. (1 COR 6: 19-20)

  • Men’s Practice is not a church. Men of Practice should be engaged and serving in their local bible church with their time, talents, and treasures. Practice is an auxiliary workout to your spiritual growth not intended to replace the core training through your local church.

  • The vision of Men’s Practice is to inspire, equip, educate, and motivate men to know God intimately and be transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ.
