Trios: Stop Doing Life Alone

Trios: Stop Doing Life Alone

Trios bring three men together to build authentic relationships and grow spiritually. The group creates a trusted environment where men can pray, talk openly, encourage one another and experience genuine community in Christ.

Why Trios?

Spiritual growth does not happen in isolation. God created people for relationships and community. Scripture reveals God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit—existing in perfect relationship. Because God created us in His image, we have a deep need to know others and allow others to truly know us. God calls His church to reflect that same connection through authentic relationships, unconditional love and grace.

Grace means giving someone what they need most when they deserve it least. It allows people to know the real you—the struggles, mistakes, fears and weaknesses—and still choose to love and support you. Trios create a place where three men can develop that kind of trust. Men can be real, speak honestly, pray together, encourage one another and experience God’s grace through genuine relationships.

Trios help men move away from spiritual and relational isolation. A man may know hundreds or even thousands of people, yet few may truly know him. Trios provide a smaller, intentional community where men can Pray, Engage and Connect. By doing life together, men can strengthen their faith, encourage one another and learn to follow Jesus more faithfully.

Why Three Men?

Three creates a small and personal environment. It gives each man an opportunity to participate, develop trust and build deeper relationships without the dynamics of a larger group.

What is the Purpose of Trios?

Trios help men grow in their relationship with God and with one another. They encourage men to move beyond surface-level relationships and develop meaningful connections centered on faith, prayer and honest conversation.

What do men do in Trios?

Trios focus on three simple actions: Pray, Engage, Connect. Men pray for one another, engage in meaningful conversations about faith and life, and build relationships that provide both encouragement and accountability.

What should I share about my life?

Trust develops over time. Trios encourage honesty and openness, but each man can share as he becomes comfortable within the relationship.

Why is Community important for Spiritual Growth?

Christian faith calls people into relationship with God and one another. Authentic community gives men a place to receive encouragement, extend grace, pray together and support each other through life’s challenges.

Who should consider joining Trios?

Any man who wants to strengthen his faith and develop deeper Christian relationships can consider Trios. It can especially benefit men who want to move beyond casual friendships and experience more intentional spiritual community.

What role does Grace play in Trios?

Grace allows men to be known without fear of rejection. Healthy Trios create an environment where men can acknowledge struggles and imperfections while continuing to encourage, support and care for one another.

How do I get started with Trios?

Start by prayerfully considering two men with whom you can build deeper, Christ-centered relationships. You can also email trios@menspractice.org with any questions or to simply say that you’re interested. The goal is simple… Stop doing life alone and start doing life together.
